********************* Apology for Multiple Posting *********************** C A L L F O R W O R K S H O P S P R O P O S A L S F O R the 10th @WAS International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications & Services (iiWAS2008) 24-26 November, 2008 Linz, Austria http://www.iiwas.org/conferences/iiwas2008/workshops.html email: iiwas2008@iiwas.org ************************************************************************** iiWAS2008 workshops aims to provide an opportunity for researchers, students and professionals to discuss and exchange ideas and information on the issues and challenges brought on by Internet technology for the intelligent integration of information and web-based application and services with like-minded researchers and practitioners. Workshops must be devoted to a theme related to the iiWAS series of conferences. Recommended topics include but are not limited to the following: - Information Systems Integration - Web Engineering and Web Applications - Innovative Business and Marketing Models - Technologies for Information Integration - Data and Knowledge Management - Value Added Web Applications and Services - Intelligent Data and Information Retrieval - Multimedia Data and Information Management - E-Commerce Frameworks & Applications - Mobile Internet Access Workshops should have a minimum of 15 registered participants and have a duration of one day (maximum two). Workshops proceedings will be edited by workshops chairs and published by the Austrian Computer Society (OCG) in books@ocg.at series. @WAS will also help workshop organizers finding high quality scientific journals interested in publishing extended versions of selected papers. Workshop chairs will have to establish a workshop site (or elaborate the html materials for our site), manage the whole submission, review and notification processs, dissemination of the workshop, elaboration of the final program and edition of the workshop proceedings (the workshop chairs will be editors of the proceedings).
