Publication

Accepted Show2021 papers will be published by ACM International Conference Proceedings and included in the proceedings of iiWAS2021 and MoMM2021. Authors of outstanding papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their papers to distinguished journals.

Scope

iiWAS2021 and MoMM2021 invite early-stage to advanced-stage researchers to present, discuss and defend their work-in-progress or projects preliminary results in front of an international and renowned audience of researchers and developers attending iiWAS and MoMM conferences. The symposium will be organised in parallel to iiWAS2021 and MoMM2021 conferences, with will be held as virtual conferences in the timezone of Central Europe due to safety concerns as well as other restrictions preventing travel and gatherings. The exact format and details will be posted on the website (please check the conferences website for up-dates).
Researchers are invited to submit a position paper. The paper should not exceed 5 pages length including references, and should contain a problem statement, an overview of related work in the area, research methodology, current stage of the project and the expected contribution to the topics of interest supported by iiWAS2021 and MoMM2021.
Authors can choose multiple categories for presenting their work during the conference including:

  • Posters
  • Demos
  • Videos
  • Oral presentations

Review Process

Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated by the respective program chairs based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition.

Submissions should be formatted according to ACM guidelines. Instructions and sample files are available for LaTeX and Microsoft Word at ACM (http://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template).

Submission Guidelines

Submissions (short papers, demos and work in progress; not more than 6 pages) must be entered into the Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit (https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/SHOW2021).
