< JAKARTA >

Jakarta is the capital city of Indonesia where national business
activities through out the country centralized. Modern shopping mall, international hotels and restaurants, nightlife and amusement parks are easy to find. Not only modernity the city also still preserves historical museum and architectures that allow us to fly to the old century,
when the city was called “Batavia” – the capital and prime harbor in
Dutch Colonial time.

Half day or full day tour in Jakarta and surroundings,

Jakarta City Sight, maybe one of the good choices. Driving through
the bustling city, pass Merdeka Square, National Museum,
Presidential Palace and visit National Museum that is reputedly to be
the finest in the South East Asia. See the world’s most complete
collection of Han, Tang and Ming porcelains. Also visit Sunda Kelapa
Harbor where the Portuguese traded with the Hindu Kingdom of
Padjadjaran in the early 16th century. Dutch domination of Jakarta
old fort and warehouses of Dutch East India Company can still be seen.
Final stop is batik workshop.

Visiting Taman Mini Indonesia Indah,
the miniature of Indonesia, would be the way to shorten your tour throughout Indonesia’s wide archipelago. This beautiful miniature park
which covers an area of 160 hectares displaying the diversity in architecture and custom of each of Indonesia’s 27 different regions, illustrating the multifaceted Indonesia culture. It also has
the Museum of Indonesia which displays, perhaps, the best
collection of artifacts and handicrafts. One day tour will give you
the convenience time to explore this cultures park.
