Kuala Lumpur and often abbreviated as K.L., is the capital and the largest city of Malaysia. KL has an international airport, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), which is one of Asia's major aviation hubs. It is located in the south of the state of Selangor, about 50 kilometers (31 mi) from the capital city, Kuala Lumpur.
